Vision 2011
Let's be clear: our tasks as individual Christians or as a church is not to invent our own vision. Instead it is to catch sight of what God is doing in His world, and then to be caught up in it. After all, 'Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.' (Proverbs 19: 21) And what is God doing? As Psalm 145 explains, God's vision is for establishing His everlasting kingdom in its glorious splendour, so that He is proved faithful to His promise and loving towards all that He has made. What a privilege that we are called by God to join Him in His work. I hope you will be encouraged by what God has already done and excited to think of what He can do in through us in 2011.
