Short Term Mission
Katie Nash
We are privileged to help support Katie Nash during her gap year. Katie has recently spent one month in Tanzania teaching English in a secondary school, visiting orphanages and connecting with street children. She is now off to spend 5 months with an organisation called TLC located outside Johannesburg, South Africa. TLC run a home for abandoned babies and this will be Katie's second visit having first spent three weeks there in 2007. She will be helping to care for the babies and children and fully immersing herself in the life of the home.
Nadia Alexandrou
Nadia has been serving God in Kenya by taking part in various missions and outreach with some of the poorest of the poor. She is now in Canada doing training and outreach work there. This is part of a gap year scheme that provides young people with training and opportunities to put their faith into practise.
