Staff Team
Paul and Liz Lynch
Paul leads the pastoral team and Liz is a fulltime primary teacher. They joined the church in 2003 after leading churches in Bournemouth and Barnstable. They are originally from Scotland and have a married daughter, Pauline, who lives in Worthing with her husband Leon. Their son, Craig, has just finished University and is working in London.
Paul and Jane Thomas

Paul is part of the leadership team at Kings. Paul has a desire to see believer’s inspired to live a life of change and restoration within the communities we live in, resourced by a passionate and intimate relationship with father God. Paul overseas the worship life and community/outreach activities of the church. Paul is married to Jane and they have three children.

Elle Bird
Elle leads the Childrens Work at Kings after graduating from college. She is married to Paul.
Fran Knapton
Fran became a Christian and was baptised at Kings Church in 1984 having been invited by her good friend and next door neighbour. She has two grown up children. Holly, now married and a mother, living in London and Mark who lives locally. Fran is the administrator for Kings.
Liz Rutty
Liz has been living in Amersham and worshipping at King's Church since 1980. A former teacher, she now works in the Church Office as Pastoral Secretary.
Elders
Richard and Jane Reynolds
Richard and Jane first attended the church when they got married in 1980 and the warm and friendly welcome they received then was duplicated when they returned with their family in later years. Richard loves leading worship at the church on a Sunday and sees this as his other important role in the church as well as being an elder.
Richard has dedicated his career to research on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at Imperial College in London; their sons having followed in his scientific footsteps with David working for a company in a similar area of research, Jonathan studying for a PhD in Biology at Imperial and Pete studying medicine at Imperial with a specific interest in neurological diseases. Their daughter, Chantal, aspires to becoming a paediatric nurse. Jane has worked in local schools for a number of years in administration.
Spending time with their family is one of their favourite pastimes, particularly sharing a meal cooked by the boys! Their other great passion is travelling and they have recently had the privilege of spending time in New Zealand where God's handiwork is 'awesome'!
Mike and Gill Peters
Mike and Gill started worshipping at Kings in 1980 as a young married couple. They have two children - Hannah, a primary school teacher who is married to Justin, and Adam who is currently studying at university. Since October 2005, Mike has been the Director of Environmental and Regeneration at Dacorum Borough Council in Hemel Hempstead. Gill is a self employed bookkeeper.
Julian and Pauline Dagnall
Julian first came to Kings Church Amersham with a friend from the church whilst a student at Oxford. After graduating as a Chartered Accountant, he moved to the area and has been at Kings ever since! He met and married his wife, Pauline, at the church. They have three children, Timothy, Matthew and Elizabeth.

Neil and Judith Suggett
Neil and Judith have been Christians for thirty two years and twenty five of those have been spent worshipping at King’s Church Amersham.
They met when they were training to be teachers and have been married for thirty eight years and have three grown up children and two grandchildren.
Neil is a Head Teacher and an Executive Coach. Judith has retired from both teaching and eleven years as King’s Church Administrator to care for their grandchildren two days a week.
Neil and Judith co ordinate the work of Focus Groups at King’s Church.
