Kings Church Football Club

The Kings Church Amersham Football Club, (“KCAFC”), was set up in 1999 by the then Minister of Kings Church Amersham who wanted to give local boys who attended church on Sunday mornings an opportunity to play in a Saturday football league which did not conflict with Sunday worship.
Starting out with a small squad of 8 players in the under 10 age category, the club has grown over the last 9 years to 13 teams with over 180 club members, ranging from under 8’s to an over 16’s youth side, which still includes some of the original boys of 1999.  These 14 squads train together at Barn Meadow and Hervines on a Saturday morning and compete in the Chiltern Church Junior League from September through to April.
Today, the current Minister and Elders of Kings Church Amersham see the KCAFC as playing a valuable role in the local community by providing a professional, friendly club for boys and girls in the area, who can both learn to develop their football skills and enjoy playing in various League and Cup competitions.
In an attempt to run the club as professionally as possible, we are currently in the process of applying for FA Charter Status with the aim of ensuring we are operating the Club in line with FA recommended guidelines and to an agreed set of standards for the good of the club members.  As part of this process many of our coaches are qualified FA Level 1 Coaches which helps to ensure we are training the boys and girls to a high standard.
If you are interested in your child becoming a member of Kings Church Amersham Football Club, please contact our Membership Secretary Donna Hoar on 01494 727514.
